Seth Rollins Talks About the WWE HIAC Main Event, CM Punk Being Gone, Feud with Orton

– Seth Rollins recently spoke with Digital Spy to promote WWE Hell In a Cell. Below are some highlights:

You and Dean Ambrose are ‘co-main eventing’ with John Cena and Randy Orton – do you care who’s going to be on last? Is it important?
“Yeah, it is. I’d be lying to you if I didn’t say that it was. We won’t know the answer to that question till Sunday comes. Of course it’s important. I want to go on last every single night, regardless of the match, regardless of the show. But you throw in the added element that we’re going up against a Cena-Orton match, which has been headlining pay-per-views for the last decade, that’s something huge. That’s a big thing to be able to go on after that match and exceed all the expectations. That’s important. I want that challenge, I want that responsibility and I wanna go on last and I wanna be known as the guy who goes on last every single night. That’s important to me.”

You and Randy Orton have had a bit of dissent of late – how healthy or unhealthy is your rivalry now?
“I would go out on a limb and say it’s fairly healthy. People don’t need to get things mixed up about what happened on Monday between me and Randy. Randy’s a snake in the grass and if I hadn’t done to him what I did – Curb Stomping him – he might have RKOd me at any time. I just wanted to send a little message to Randy Orton and let him know that I’m on my toes and that I’m not messing around. Hopefully he heard that message loud and clear.”

“I haven’t seen him or talked to him since then, but he’s got some bigger stuff to worry about come Sunday at Hell in a Cell, and then maybe after that we can try to figure out how he feels about me. I know he’s not too fond of my current situation within The Authority, but he’s going to have to get used to it. He doesn’t wanna share the spotlight, I get it. But he’s going to have to if he wants to make this thing work and be successful along the way.”

Another Paul Heyman Guy was CM Punk – will he ever come back? Could he come back before WrestleMania 31?
“Before WrestleMania 31 highly, highly unlikely. Down the road? Part of me was 100% sure he’d be back at some point but the longer he’s away, the more it makes me wonder that maybe he’s gone. He spent a good portion of his life dedicated to this business, it’s good for him to maybe get away. He’s done all there really is to do. So I hope that he’s happy and I hope that he’s doing well for himself and enjoying his life away from wrestling. You know, that’s what we all work for is to be able to retire early and enjoy our lives, so I hope that’s the case for him.”
