Seth Rollins To Miss 6-9 Months Due To Injuries, Stripped Of WWE World Heavyweight Championship

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has torn his right ACL, MCL and medial meniscus. He will be out of action for six to nine months.

As noted, Rollins was injured during his match with Kane at Wednesday’s WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena. Rollins was going for a sunset flip powerbomb and his leg hit the mat wrong. After the match, he could not walk on it and appeared to have suffered a knee injury. He was helped to the back by WWE trainers.

WWE announced that he will not be able to defend the title against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. A tournament to determine a new champion will instead take place at the event.

The WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event takes place on November 22, 2015 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event will air on the WWE Network and some traditional PPV outlets.
