Several top Superstars’ WWE contracts coming up very soon

In 2016, WWE raided the top card of New Japan Pro-wrestling by signing AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. All four of these Superstars were valuable assets to the giant in the East and WWE ended up hurting them in a big way. However, all their contracts are coming up very soon.

Dave Meltzer noted that all four of these Superstars will have the decision to leave the WWE or re-sign in January 2019. AJ Styles, who is the current WWE Champion, might not want to leave the prestigious position that he currently holds in the company. The Phenomenal One has quickly become the real face of the company and a fan-favourite, having achieved a lot in just two years.

We noted earlier that NJPW is really interested in bringing their former top dog, Shinsuke Nakamura, back to Japan. Nakamura’s first year in the company has been wonderous as he’s already achieved many feats. NJPW might have to┬átry hard to get their top Superstar back next year.

The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows might not have been on the main card at all times but are former WWE tag team champs. In the past two years, the two have been underutilized by the WWE but there has been no disappointment on either side. Their future in the company is tough to speculate at this point in time.

Also noted earlier, Daniel Bryan’s contract will be up come September 1st. Bryan re-signing with the WWE could be the most probable outcome but you never know what happens in a month’s time.

It’s that moron joey numbers. Pretty clear by the way he posts that it’s not Stupid WWE but a pretender.

Eh? Where did I say they would not push them in NJPW?
Do you not realise they left NJPW for WWE? If they could make similar money and do less work in NJPW, why do you think they left for WWE?
What you are failing to even read in my post is that WWE would more than likely not want them to go back there so will be able to offer them a much sweeter deal to keep them.

Plus the price of living is a lot more expensive in Japan anyway, so whatever money they make over there if it is close to WWE money, would actually earn them a lot less when living costs come into it.

Why? All three but AJ would be used far better by NJPW, be able to wrestle less, and make probably close to what they were making in WWE. Why the hell would Gallows and Anderson want to stick around in WWE when they aren’t even used half the time now? And Nakamura has been wasted. They had him win the RR, only for him to repeatedly fail to win the actual WWE Championship (same thing they did to Asuka). It was pointless. If you don’t think NJPW wouldn’t push him to the moon and treat him like an ACTUAL star, you’re nuts.

I laugh at this page you really thing New Japan or any of these other indy can out bid the WWE. Have you seen the WWE stock like I said it never been more stronger.

    Agreed.

You do realize that it’s all scripted? I’m sure the named stars have already entered into negotiations.

Nakamura and Good Brother will be gone, AJ’s staying as WWE seems to finally realize he’s one of the best and AJ still has good years left in him.

and on the Daniel Bryan thing, it depends on the outcome of SummerSlam, if SummerSlam is a win for him, then he stays, if he loses to Miz, then he’s leaving and putting Miz over as a heel in the process.

I don’t see any of them wanting to leave, and don’t see WWE letting them go.
Even Gallows and Anderson can negotiate a sweet deal as I am sure WWE wants to keep them from returning to NJPW.
