Several top Superstars’ WWE contracts coming up very soon

In 2016, WWE raided the top card of New Japan Pro-wrestling by signing AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. All four of these Superstars were valuable assets to the giant in the East and WWE ended up hurting them in a big way. However, all their contracts are coming up very soon.

Dave Meltzer noted that all four of these Superstars will have the decision to leave the WWE or re-sign in January 2019. AJ Styles, who is the current WWE Champion, might not want to leave the prestigious position that he currently holds in the company. The Phenomenal One has quickly become the real face of the company and a fan-favourite, having achieved a lot in just two years.

We noted earlier that NJPW is really interested in bringing their former top dog, Shinsuke Nakamura, back to Japan. Nakamura’s first year in the company has been wonderous as he’s already achieved many feats. NJPW might have to try hard to get their top Superstar back next year.

The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows might not have been on the main card at all times but are former WWE tag team champs. In the past two years, the two have been underutilized by the WWE but there has been no disappointment on either side. Their future in the company is tough to speculate at this point in time.

Also noted earlier, Daniel Bryan’s contract will be up come September 1st. Bryan re-signing with the WWE could be the most probable outcome but you never know what happens in a month’s time.
