We noted before how Shawn Michaels was expected to appear at the upcoming WWE Super Showdown from Australia, however his role for the event was not confirmed.
Now Wrestling Observer Live has confirmed that Michaels will indeed be appearing at the show and according to local advertisement, he will be the special guest referee for the Triple H vs. Undertaker bout at the show.
It’s worth mentioning here that Shawn made his return to WWE programming during this week’s episode of Raw and he was followed by the Undertaker.
The segment involving these two legends was heavily focused on Shawn’s retirement and many wondered if it was a set up for a future match between him and the Dead Man.
Now with the reveal that he will be playing a part in the bout, the big question is if Shawn Michaels can set up his return match against Taker at the upcoming show?
