Sheamus Remembers HHH Street Fight, WWE Celebrates High Five Day and More

– In case you missed it, Thursday was National High Five Day. WWE posted the following video to celebrate:

– Roddy Piper’s new wrestling movie “Fancypants” will be screened at the Treasure Coast Film Festival from Fort Pierce, Florida tonight. Fans can also catch the movie at the Nova Cinemas at 4pm EST.

– WWE Superstar The Miz will be appearing in new Public Service Announcements and giving “Pep Talks” to people who do not have high school diplomas, encouraging them to get their GED’s. The PSA’s are part of The Ad Council and The Dollar General Literacy Foundation’s new national GED Achievement campaign.

– WWE’s website has a new feature up called “Remember When.” The first installment features World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus looking back at his Street Fight against Triple H at the 2010 Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Sheamus said:

“I had to make sure I took him out, otherwise I might not be standing here now. If not for that situation I might have become a lost, forgotten Superstar like so many others. If I hadn’t beaten Triple H that night, I would have been beaten two matches in a row,” Sheamus said. “I had to do whatever I possibly could to stay here.”
