Huge segment involving Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler announced for SmackDown Live

Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler

WWE announced via their twitter account that Dolph Ziggler will be confronting The King Of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live. You can see the tweet below:

These two superstars have crossed paths a number of times since Nakamura’s debut on SmackDown Live and they are rumoured to face each other at the upcoming SmackDown PPV Backlash.

Since Backlash is less than 2 weeks ago, this segment is most likely to set up the match between the two WWE Stars and it won’t be a surprise if we see them exchanging some blows.

Other matches that are set for the event include the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal, United Status Championship match between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens and The Usos vs. Breezango for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

It’s worth noticing that WWE has held off the in ring debut of Nakamura on the main roster purposefully and has already announced that he will be having his first match on the main roster at Backlash.

Since WWE has been building anticipation for Shinsuke’s debut, fans are hoping that his first bout will be a memorable one and Ziggler certainly looks to be a right opponent, who is capable of matching the performance of the former NXT Champion.

I think one can separate his in-ring work/capabilities and his flamboyant character.

While I do appreciate things that he’s accomplished in his career and the matches he has had, I have to agree with Rob-1 that his flair/style/mannerisms are “over the top” and silly. For me it just looks like he’s trying WAY too hard with the gimmick and looks ridiculous. But yes, I get that’s my opinion and Rob’s as well. Just saying one can separate that assessment out.

Personally I find the face he makes, waving his arms around, and awkward motions to be really cheesy and annoying – but I don’t dismiss his accomplishments.

He’s been referred to as the greatest WRESTLER on the planet by several guys in the business, including Daniel Bryan (although he may have been biased). But the guy is legit. Yeah, the guy is over the top sometimes, but that’s his thing. He’s a bonafide rock star. He’s the Japanese John Cena. Seriously, educate yourself on his stuff.

Really man? Have you ever watched this man work? He truly is the King of Strongstyle. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I would strongly suggest you overlook the character and look at the worker. WWE is finally getting something right with this guy and his push.I would suggest you go back and watch some of his work in NJPW. This is where I first saw this guy and he is a great.

I don’t care for this Nakamura, he acts too silly.
