- In an interesting trivia note, no match at WrestleMania 27 went over 15 minutes except Triple H vs. The Undertaker, which went almost 30 minutes. John Cena vs. The Miz went just under 15 minutes before it was re-started and after the second fall, it went 15 minutes and 20 seconds.

– As seen on last night’s SmackDown, Sin Cara made his Friday night debut and attacked Jack Swagger. The idea at Monday’s RAW was that Cara would face WWE United States Champion Sheamus at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view but we’re not sure if that’s still the plan after he debuted on SmackDown last night.

They easily could have kept the US title match and even add a Divas title match. Both matches could have been two minutes each.

So basically, 2 hours of wrestling on a 4 hour show. What’s all this talk about time constraints? They should have squeezed a couple more matches in there.

@CC Very good points. However, keep in mind that London and Kenrick were, hands down, the best tag team in WWE for a couple of years there, and they were certainly one of the best WWE tag teams of all time. They held the belts for about a year. And yet, they too got booted off of WM, they never even GOT to be on a WM. Remember, that it was originally slated to be L&K vs. MNM at WM22, but that got booted, because they wanted time for some stupid Divas Playboy match and shit. This type of thing isn’t anything new, not anymore.

For that matter, now that I think about it, MNM, ANOTHER one of the best WWE tag teams within the last decade, also consequently never got to wrestle on a WM card, either. Damn shame on both counts. Same for guys like Lance Storm and Shane Helms.

So despite the initial comment, 2 matches went for over 15 minutes.
It doesnt matter whether the Miz/Cena match was restarted or not, it still went for over 15 mins.

To be honest I dont think this is the thing thats even damning of Wrestlemania for me, its the fact that two of the matches went for less than two minutes, and both of those matches featured big tag teams.
The Snooki match was understandably short as she isnt a wrestler and Trish may be a bit rusty, so it would have been all down to Dolph and Jomo, which defeats the purpose of it being a six person tag match.
The Corre match though was unforgiveable as it ended up making them look weak as fuck, and then compounded it by having them beaten down on Raw the next night as well.
Like or hate any of the people in that match, but you had two former world champions, two former IC champions, the current IC champion, the current tag champions and a former ECW champ (yeah, the WWECW championship doesnt count for much really which is why I dont mention it for Show and Kane), and they get something like a minute and a half squash match.
