Sin Cara’s debut this week: Hit or Miss?

As we all know, the Mexican Highflyer formerly known as Mistico who now goes by Sin Cara, made his WWE debut this past Monday on Raw. People are saying that some WWE worker almost botched Sin Cara’s entrance on Raw last week by putting the trampolined used by Sin Cara way too close to the edge of the ring. Sin Cara luckily was able to save his entrance at the last second.

He gave Sheamus and the WWE Universe quite a show with his high flying lucha libre style. His style is a bit different from Mysterio since Mysterio is limited in what he can do. Sin Cara however, seems to be unlimited with what he does, partly because that’s what he’s most known for in Mexico. Sin Cara also showed up on SmackDown, giving both Jack Swagger and Michael Cole quite a surprise.

Overall Sin Cara’s debut on both Raw and Smackdown was a grand slam. I watched both shows and was very happy with the work he did. People seemed legitimately surprised and impressed by what they saw. Sin Cara had two great hits these past weeks, earning him number 16 on the Power 25 rankings. It really isn’t a high number but if he keeps it up, he’ll probably be up in the top ten.

The rumor mill is saying that he will wrestle his first WWE PPV at Extreme Rules in Tampa, Florida. This will give the WWE Universe a chance to see what he really has after his awesome debut this past week on Raw against Primo. It was a good back and forth match that really seemed to capture the WWE Universe’s attention. Even though Primo botched a move towards the end of the match, overall it was really was a great match to see and I am very excited to see what he has in store for us in the future.
