Over the past few months we have been working very hard on having the current site re-designed, re-coded, and overall just making the entire site more user-friendly. We realize the current design is fairly out-dated and isn’t as fluid as it could be.
The new look will be much more interactive and hopefully increase the user experience on W-E. Navigation will be a lot easier and you won’t have to search for content – it will be there right in front of you! Updates to the site will be automatic and features such as top stories, latest photos, etc. will be updated on a daily basis. There will also be a bigger emphasis on comments and social media to increase communication among W-E fans. We hope to bring back our forums eventually too, but that is something we’re looking at longer term.
We expect the launch to take place in the next few weeks, but we will keep you updated.
