SmackDown audience sees a drop

Jeff Hardu hell In A Cell

The Raw episode this week saw a drop in viewership as the momentum from SummerSlam PPV washes off and the SmackDown episode suffered from the same fate.

The episode featuring the Women’s Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Carmella in the main event drew a total of 2.350 million viewers.

This is down 3.6% from last week’s episode of the show which had the New Day winning the SmackDown tag team titles in the main event and had drawn 2.437 million viewers

The season finale of Miz and Mrs saw a drop in the audience as well and after scoring it’s third biggest audience last week, the show saw a drop of 74k and drew 1.161 million viewers.

Since this was the season finale, the reality show is done for the time being. Though as we noted before it has already been renewed for a second season in 2019.

How long has Charlotte been around and have many title reigns does she have? Even when she’s not the champ, she is still the focus of the division. She gets put into the title picture out of nowhere, as evidenced at SummerSlam. How is she NOT the female John Cena?

I won’t lie, the John Cena statement really confused me. How is Charlotte Flair anything like John Cena. Charlotte Flair can definitely wrestle, has a good repertoire of moves, has her charisma. I’m not a hardcore fan of Charlotte but I’m not mad at her y we calling her Cena

But…but…I thought everybody loved New Day and Charlotte and that’s why they bookended the show with them. You mean people don’t like bad comedy and the female John Cena?
