SmackDown Passes Gunsmoke on TV List, Jericho Responds to Ziggler Comment

– WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler wrote on Twitter last night that he was going to steal the show at tonight’s RAW tapings in Mexico City. Ziggler then asked fans, “will u be the best at what u do tomorrow?”

Chris Jericho threw his 2 cents in and asked Ziggler: “When have u ever stole the show?”

– According to WWE, after last night’s 634th SmackDown episode, their blue brand show is now the second longest running weekly episodic TV show in history, passing Gunsmoke and joining RAW at the top. WWE posted the following graphic:

I’m getting more and more tired of Jericho’s BS as of late. If he’s “playing a character” what’s the point unless he’s coming back? And if he actually believes the crap he’s saying, he really needs a reality check.

I hope so. Jericho is one of the few instant main event quality heels in the WWE, something which is greatly needed. Del Rio will be back to the mid-card eventually, and possibly Mark Henry as well. If Jericho is coming back soon, then I approve of the chatter and verbal cheap-shots.

Football isn’t episodic it’s seasonal. WWE has a show every week of the year. Nor just during certain times of the year.

Gunsmoke was a lot better show.

Monday night Football can not be because during footsballs off season it does not show

i used to be a jericholic. but hes pretty full of himself lately. maybe he should stick to sucking ass at improv comedy and spend less time tearing down up and comers

I bet you he will show up at the Rumble.

    i smell sarcasm

I’m a Jericho fan, but I kind of wish he’d shut up if he’s not getting back into the ring anytime soon. If he’s not purposefully being a heel, then it’s kind of pointless.

They have all kinds of strict specifications that make something not so impressive look incredible.

@Jon weekly episodic shows means shows that are on once a week, so soap operas would not fall into that category. Also a quick look on Wikipedia shows Monday night football only has 649 episodes, but it doesn’t really count as an episodic show because it’s a sport. Sure wrestling kinda is sports (entertainment) but it’s different at the same time. There’s storylines and junk.

Plus if you are going to bring up Monday night football, what about hockey night in Canada. It’s been on since the 30’s. But still irrelevant.

This shouldn’t be counted. If is truly was then Monday Night Football, all those soap operas, etc would be counted in this list. It sports entertainment it different than those shows
