– Linda McMahon is not planning to attend the Republican Party’s National Convention in August. McMahon spokesperson Kate Duffy told local and national media that McMahon plans to focus on Connecticut’s primary election in August, where McMahon is opposing Chris Shays.
– Friday’s WWE Smackdown replay scored a very similar social media activity score compared to the previous two first-run episodes. Smackdown scored 61,443, which was in-between 61,126 two weeks ago and 61,971 last week. The replay topped the yearly average by eight percent. Smackdown ranked #2 on cable TV Friday night, trailing “SpongeBob SquarePants” on Nickelodeon.
