We noted before how SmackDown Live Star Sin Cara appeared to have suffered an injury while competing in a Triple threat match at a recent WWE Live Event.
Cara was competing against Sami Zayn and the United States Champion Baron Corbin and he landed awkwardly while avoiding a clothesline from Corbin.
At that point, it wasn’t confirmed if the injury was anything serious and if he’ll miss any time but now the Luchador has confirmed his injury via a tweet himself.
He made the following tweet in which he apologized to the people for not being able to compete at the SmackDown Brand Live Event in Lisbon:
Por un inconveniente en mi rodilla no pude participar hoy del #WWELisbon. Disculpas a los que asistieron. Espero volver a verlos pronto 🙏🇵🇹

“Due to an inconvenience in my knee I could not participate today in the # WWELisbon . Apologies to those who attended. I hope to see you again soon”
Though so far WWE has not released any statement on Sin Cara so currently it’s not known how serious his injury is and his status for tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live is not clear either.
