SmackDown Star being moved back to Raw?

While the speculations of another superstar shakeup turned out to be an overblown rumor, it appears a top SmackDown Star could still possibly be moving to Raw.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez talked about the upcoming Hell In A Cell match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon and speculated that Owens could be moved back to the Red Brand.

According to Alvarez, the outcome of this match is not set in stone yet and Officials are considering several possible follow-ups for this bout, including the one which involves Kevin changing Brands once again.

What’s interesting to note here is that amidst these rumors several fans have reported that Kevin is being advertised for an upcoming Raw episode on October 16th RAW in Portland, OR on Facebook. Below is a screenshot of the advertisement:

Another sign of this storyline is the appearance of Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon during the recent segment between the former Universal Champion and Mr. McMahon. It’s speculated that her appearance would be used for storyline purpose in near future.

If Kevin Owens does end up leaving SmackDown Live, it’d be interesting to see if the Blue Brand gets a replacement for him and who it turns out to be.
