Xavier Woods of the new day and Cesaro of the Bar had a physical match on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and it appears that the ending of the bout didn’t suit Woods much.
The ending of the match saw Xavier coming from the top rope and taking an uppercut from the Swiss Superman after which he was pinned by the former Raw Tag Team Champion.
After the show, the New Day Member revealed on Instagram that he has ‘one hole and two partial holes in his tongue as a result of the stiff uppercut”:

While this injury is not expected to keep Xavier Woods out of the ring, it’s still difficult to look at. It once again shows how real wrestling can be and a small accident in the ring can do some serious damage.
