As reported earlier, Jeff Hardy suffered an injury during the last week’s main event which saw him being replaced by R-Truth for the proceeding live events. According to spectators, Jeff was limping when he was in the corner of Matt who faced Jimmy Uso.
The WWE is yet to shed the details on the injury but Dave Meltzer reported that Hardy is playing things safe while his friends are hoping that he has not injured his knee severely. Jeff Hardy has been dealing with knee issues for a long time and this injury might need surgery as per the people backstage.
Due to these circumstances, it is most likely that the Hardy Boyz will have to drop their recently won SmackDown tag team titles. We have to wait and see if the champions lose their titles through a switch or by vacating it.
