Spoiler on TNA’s Plans for the World Heavyweight Title After Last Night’s Impact Wrestling

– As seen on last night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, AJ Styles “walked out” of the company with the TNA World Heavyweight Title.

On next Thursday’s Halloween show, Dixie Carter will announce an eight-man tournament to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. The tournament will begin November 7th and will feature Austin Aries, Chris Sabin, Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, James Storm and Magnus.

And it sounds like they are doing it with Anderson as well from what I have just read … ha ha

Not only was the WWE done so recently, but it was done so publicly. Dont forget, they had non wrestling sites putting up pictures and stories of Punk appearing with the belt elsewhere.
If AJ has genuinely gone, then its a little bit different, but you just know he will do a CM Punk and come back to “surprise” everyone.
Also, while it didnt contain a title, they did a similar thing with Matt Morgan recently, and although stripped of his title, the same with Devon. Two guys supposedly left the company only to return unexpectedly.

A pumpkin eating contest which would more than likely involve the superstars vomiting to determine the new champion, would be more entertaining to watch.

Cool, never saw this storyline before!

seems like AJ bailed out anderson and well this is looking like punks walk out got a feeling magnus is gonna win this tournament and then magnus vs aj like punk and cena

Pretty much nothing is innovative in wrestling. I’m sure this angle has been done many, many times before. The only negative is that the WWE did it so recently and everything gets held up against the WWE.

On the other hand, Punk was alone but Anderson’s involvement in the Styles angle is interesting.

Wow what an innovative idea! Yeah that isnt the same exact thing wwe did when punk walked out with the belt not at all.
