WWE confirmed two Championship matches for the upcoming NXT Takeover: Philadelphia event during the first night of NXT Tapings from Center Stage in Atlanta.
It was believed that SAnitY would be challenging The NXT Tag Team Champions Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish in a steel cage match at the upcoming show.
However, during the tapings, The Authors of Pain defeated The Street Profits to become the new #1 contender for the Tag titles, and they will now be challenging the Undisputed Era for the Championships.
During the tapings, it was also announced that NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon will be defending her title against Mae Young Classic competitor Shayna Baszler.
