WWE invaded Austin, TX at the Frank Erwin Center on Tuesday night for the Main Event and SmackDown TV tapings. Here are the spoilers for this week’s episode of SmackDown:
– Kane opens the show with a promo in the ring to hype his upcoming WWE Title match with Seth Rollins at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event. This led to The New Day walking out and cutting a promo. The New Day was booked in a tag team match against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in the main event.
– Non-Title Match: Seth Rollins defeated Cesaro.
– Paige walks down to the ring and calls out Becky Lynch as well as Charlotte to join her. They don’t, but the Bella Twins do. This leads to a match.
– Singles Match: Nikki Bella defeated Paige.
– Dolph Ziggler and Summer Rae were in the ring for a Miz TV segment. Ziggler claims he is done with Rae. This led to Rae saying that she doesn’t need him because she has a new man and that’s Tyler Breeze, which he then walked out to the ring and attacked Ziggler.
– Tag Team Match: Sheamus and King Barrett with Rusev defeated The Lucha Dragons.
– Tag Team Match: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated The New Day when Kofi Kingston and Big E tried to leave the ring, but The Dudley Boyz walked down out to stop them. They tossed Kingston back into the ring where Reigns would connect with a spear for the win.
Post-match, Bray Wyatt appeared on the big screen and cut a promo about his match with Reigns at the HIAC PPV to close the show.
