WWE invaded Houston, TX at the Toyota Center on Tuesday night for the Main Event and SmackDown TV tapings. Here are the spoilers for this week’s episode of SmackDown:
– Roman Reigns opened the show with a promo in the ring. He talks about being the guy in the WWE. AJ Styles walked out and talked about challenging him for the WWE Title. Reigns talked down to him then left the ring.
– Tag Team Match: The Vaudevillians defeated Sin Cara and Kalisto.
– Singles Match: Natalya defeated Summer Rae with a Sharpshooter. Charlotte and Ric Flair were on commentary for the match. Post-match, Natalya and Charlotte had a staredown.
– Maryse introduces The Miz to the ring.
– Intercontinental Match: The Miz © defeated Zack Ryder after Maryse distracted Ryder and Miz hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.
– Singles Match: Apollo Crews defeated Curtis Axel.
– Becky Lynch cuts a backstage promo but was interrupted by Emma.
– Baron Corbin cuts a backstage promo on Dolph Ziggler.
– Singles Match: Dean Ambrose defeated Tyler Breeze.
– Tag Team Match: AJ Styles and Cesaro beat Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens. Styles pinned Owens after he was distracted by Sami Zayn.
