Stacked WWE Madison Square Garden Live Event sees poor turnout

We noted before how WWE stacked up the card for their traditional Madison Square Garden Live Event during the Christmas season and the show even had appearances from stars like Vince McMahon and John Cena.

However, even the stacked card and announced return of the Cenation Leader was not enough to draw the audience as the Official would have hoped.

According to Wrestling Observer, the show drew only 11,900 fans for an arena that can hold up to 20,000 fans and this is the lowest turnout for the show in recent memory.

Things weren’t very great on SmackDown’s side either, as the Blue Branded Live Event which was held in Allstate Arena on the same day drew 6,000 people when it usually fills up about 10,000 seats.

Both these numbers were a lot lower than what WWE Officials must have been expecting and it’d be interesting to see, how they react to this news.
