Former ECW Wrestler Not Retiring, SmackDown Returning To Memphis, Aksana

– Former ECW talent Axl Rotten is accepting wrestling bookings after announcing his retirement from the squared circle due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on April 29.

He wrote on Facebook: “After nearly 2 months of deep thought I have decided I DO NOT want to retire from Professional Wrestling. I believe I made a premature decision due to the fact that I was involved in a terrible car accident. The accident on the early morning of April 29, 2012 left me with 8 broken ribs as well as a broken sternum. Wrestling was not in my mind at all. I announced I was going to retire. As time passed I felt I was cheating myself. I love wrestling. Pro Wrestling has been my life since age 16. I have done so much and know I have so much more to do. For the record…AXL ROTTEN is accepting all bookings(Wrestling, conventions & personal appearances). I am doing what I love for me and only me. Wrestling is what I do and stopping isn’t on my mind.- Axl Rotten 6/19.12.”
