- Pat Bailey sent word that WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin appeared on tonight’s episode of G4’s Attack of the Show to promote his new movie, Tactical Force, which officially hits stores tomorrow on Blu-ray and DVD.

Austin was asked about the rumors of him wrestling CM Punk at next year’s WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view from Miami, Florida.

Pat adds that Austin said he is a huge fan of Punk and if he did come back for another match, he would want it to be against the Straight Edge Superstar.

Austin would not say if the match will or won’t happen next year.

I have heard of opinions but to exclude the past is truly oblivious. vemon that would be a great match too! Sin Cara (future) vs. Mysterio (past) and bring back the Cruiserweight belt! That would be great for the smaller wrestlers to get recognition amongst each other. OH WELL…….Ho Lee Schitt, I write long replies just to annoy people like you lmao!

My Wrestlemania 28 card (excluding any surprise signings except The Rock):

Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio (props to venom!)

    Beth Phoenix vs. Kharma (Divas)

Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase (Intercontinental)

Kane vs. Undertaker (Inferno Career vs. Streak match)

John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth vs. Alex Riley (United States Fatal 4-Way Elimination Rules)

David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty vs. Evan Bourne and Justin Gabriel (WWE Tag Team)

HHH vs. CM Punk (Miami Street Fight)

Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett (World Heavyweight)

Alberto Del Rio vs. The Miz (WWE)

    The Rock vs. John Cena

Don’t forget they might have Mysterio vs Sin Cara to Wrestlemania 28.

  • Ho Lee Schitt

@kgm da master ever heard of opinions? and who has time to read that freaking book you call a comment?

  • The Who

Wait a second here. So if the “wrestlers” are now called “super stars” Do that mean the former know “wrestlemania” will be now called “Supermania?”
Now it all makes sense, Super Cena = Super Mania. LOL

@KGM replace 24 with 23 it was 10 times better

Easily this is a young group of recently put together fans with narrow opinions. Wrestlemanias 3-6,7,10,12,20 & 24 were the Manias that stood out the most, card wise and throughout the history of Wrestlemania. All the Manias in between had innovative ideas but didnt cut the bill as far as quality matches and feuds. To answer breezy, thats why the WWE is at least making WM28 look more appealing than this years bust of a spectacle. I think they are due for an extravagant event, such as the big ticket! I know Ill be there to see Diesel vs. Undertaker and Cena vs. Rock! I hope CM Punk will have a lengthy reign as champion and feuds with Rey at Wrestlemania 28. Hopefully for the WWE title and Mysterio to retire at the climax of his storied career. These 2 have unique chemistry in the ring unparallel to any recent matches since the beginning of HBK & Undertaker saga. The one superstar who is surprisingly dull is Randy Orton. No feuds in place or reoccuring to revive the Viper. Christian’s longevity is about as potent as a shot of beer. With that said, Wade Barrett needs to develop faster or get left behind. WWE invested a lot into Barrett, just to see him tumble through superstars and blotch plenty of matches. To all you “youngins,” that’s why Barrett is still a nobody (considering only one true title reign) and won’t get a World title shot anytime soon. John Morrison could be the answer to Randy’s woes for an opponent if Morrison can get a mean streak going like his budding partner R-Truth has started in the recent weeks. That would need to include a trade between Raw and Smackdown to acquire the guru of excellence. Last and least, the WOMENS division needs a respirator in a hurry! Beth is the long term answer for a Diva (which should be changed back to the Women’s belt) champion. Bringing Chyna back to face Beth would be epic for a division that has turned sour as of late. Or better yet, a triple threat between 3 of the most gruesome women wrestlers I’ve ever seen! Chyna vs. Beth vs. Kharma! If the WWE had me on their staff, wrestling would survive its current decline. Good luck newbies cause the pressure is on! Miz, Del Rio, etc. this year you all fucked up my Wrestlemania in Atlanta. Two times in a row and you may not get a second chance! THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE, WRESTLING EDGE JUST GOT GOT BY THE GREATEST WRITER EVER KGM!

they’re going to make it up regardless they have alot of stars breaking out of their shells… and besides they will make more money by seperating each match on different wm’s it aint about this wm will be about the rock and cena

  • Mike Oxafloppin

I could see them putting all those main events in one show just to make up for that ShitMania XXVII

  • breezy

why would they put all those main events on one ppv? when they can do 1 for each of the following years

  • Ronni

    What about WM X-7 Bill?

  • Not An Angry Fan :)

    Can you imagine it?!

    John Cena vs The Rock
    Mick Foley vs The Undertaker
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs CM Punk

That is $$$$ written all over Vince!

  • Bill

If they do have a match at WM 28, then I’d say Wam 28 could be in contention for one of the best WM’s, along the lines of WM 14, X-8, & XIX.
