Steve Austin on if the finish of No Mercy was a right call

Stone Cold Steve Austin on No Mercy

The finish of No Mercy’s main event between Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar made many fans angry as they did not expect the Monster Among Men to go down after just one F5.

During a recent interview with Baby Huey & Bimbo Jimbo on 107.7 The Bone, Stone Cold Steve Austin gave his thoughts on the finish of this match.

Austin said that while he hasn’t seen the match yet if it really went the way people are saying then he would agree that it was a wrong call:

“They have built Braun to be The Monster Among Men, and to me maybe you got to have something, a couple of F-5s or something to put a chink in the armor before the F-5 to keep Braun Strowman The Monster Among Men down for a three count. I have not seen the match, but from what you guys are telling me I would probably would tend to agree.”

We noted before that WWE sees Braun Strowman as just another stop on Brock Lesnar’s road to WrestleMania so it’s not likely that he will receive another shot at the Universal title any time soon

Losing to 1 F5 means nothing. This year alone, Goldberg, Samoa Joe, Reigns and now Strowman and fell victim to it. I don’t feel any of them lost any credibility to it, it’s just the same old bs booking.

    Certainly stronger than 4 AAs…

  • ROB-1.

    Lesnar is worthless.

I am done with Brock Lasner I believe it is all him. Braun Strowman will wear WWE title some day and he will have a long run when he does. There some push that can’t be stop. But as of right now I wonder if they going to put Neville and Strowman to win the tag titles.

Why build a guy up like this only to throw him under the bus just to extend Lesnars worthless reign.
It is gettin ridiculous with these matches where Lesnar takes a hammering and delivers one move that is more devastating than everything his opponent has thrown at him. It was bad enough when it was in reverse and Lesnar did the same to Cena only for Cena to hit one move and win. Now we are getting it with Lesnar too. It really devalues the power of a guy like Strowman that he can hit Lesnar with everything he has, and Lesnar continues. Lesnar hits him with one move .. game over.

The F5 is apparently more powerful than anything in the world.
