– WWE’s recent tour of Europe had 22 dates with 170,000 fans and a gross of about $12 million.
– Steve Austin, Vinnie Jones and Robert Patrick, who were all involved with WWE movie projects, will be making feature appearances in the third season of NBC’s Chuck.
– As noted before, WWE has former developmental star Mikey Batts to work as a referee. His hiring came at the recommendation of FCW trainer Billy Kidman. WWE was looking for a smaller referee who knows how to bump and Batts is barely 5 feet tall. He has little experience as a referee but was practicing this past weekend at some indy shows in the northeast.
