The Undertaker explains why a match with  Sting never happened

The Phenom previously had an interview with Robbie Fox of Barstool Sports and discussed about the possibility of the dream match.

He said:

“I mean, being completely honest, at this point, it would have been cool in the 90s. Even, it would have been cool in the early 2000s. But there’s a reason why the last ride came about and I’ve called it a day.”

“Although I have it here, and I have it in my heart to do, my body just doesn’t cooperate with the other two factors in that. So it becomes really difficult. I just don’t want people to get a watered-down version of that character.”

It has been one of the dream matches for the fans as two personas were similar but unfortunately it will never take place as The Phenom has now hung up his boots.
