- Rihan of the Road to WrestleMania 30 blog in the UK attended Sting’s Q&A show at Camden Highlight Club in London last night. He noted that Sting got a great ovation and was very tight lipped about his future but it appeared that he’s signed with WWE based on some answers that were given. A playlist from the Q&A is above and Rihan passed along these highlights:

* He want to face The Undertaker in his last match. He’s not interested in fighting other opponents in WWE or independent promotions

* He was on YouTube doing research by watching the Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels match

* Hasn’t watched the TNA product since he left, but has been purposefully (his exact words) watching RAW for the past few weeks

Other highlights:

* Mentioned his three favorite matches were vs. Flair for 45 minutes at Clash Of Champions 88, his first World Title victory and Starrcade 97 vs. Hulk Hogan

* Mentioned he disliked working with Vampiro in WCW & he wasn’t fond of working with Robocop

* Mentioned he didn’t feel that Hogan took his spot when he joined WCW

* Rated Shawn Michaels & Kurt Angle as top two wrestlers

* Credited Scott Hall for giving him the idea behind the Crow look

* Responsible for Goldberg joining WCW as he used Lex Luger & Sting’s Atlanta gym

* Disappointed about not having a proper feud with Bret Hart in WCW

* Sting couldn’t remember who the Dangerous Alliance were and doesn’t follow the product so was unable to mention a favorite match not involving him

Why cant Sting be booked as a Heel?lets face it arent we tired of seein 2 babyfaces go at it?I like heel babyface action regardless of who the 2 guys are,its just the best story.

For a person like myself who has been a Sting fans for so many years wanting to see him in a WWE ring will be good enough for me. Rather it is at Wrestlmania 30 or the next night on Raw it will be a history made moment that never though I would be able to see as a wrestling fan.

HIS last match should be against Cena at Wrestlemania 32 in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. That match could help them re-break the indoor-attendance record if done CORRECTLY.

Your right and that sucks, that your right!. Let’s all hope The men Steve Borden and Mark Calaway let Vince know that this is how we are doing this.

If Sting isn’t at WM30, he will surely be at Raw the following night.

Booking Sting in a heel role just isn’t wise and I don’t see Vince doing it. I think they’ll play it like two legends who have never crossed paths competing to see who’s the best. That’s why I also believe they’ll do two matches: one at SummerSlam (or Survivor Series) and one at Wrestlemania 31. Sting would win the first to put doubt in people’s minds about whether or not Undertaker could beat him and then Taker would get his win back at Wrestlemania, possibly in another Streak vs Career match. At the end of the day, everyone goes home happy.

This is ‘Vince’ we are talking about here…..

I think, when Taker beats Brock, whilst he’s posing and his undefeated steak blares on the big screen to the audience… Whilst the lights dim… Sting appears behind Taker and the lights come on. Taker turns around and Sting cracks him with his trademark baseball bat… Thus, setting the stage for W31.

Reading that Sting has no interest in any other opponent in WWE besides Undertaker. I can imagine how Triple H must be pissed considering how he always book himself against who is over or any big name coming into WWE. Im sure H visoned something like him vs sting at Summerslam claiming he is the measuring stick and all that bulls*** he says.

Possibly would be the biggest Moment in Wrestlemania’s 30 year history. How could Vince let a moment like that not happen.

  • justAfan

I personally think Sting will be @Wrestlemania 30. Appearing after Taker vs Brock war and challenge the streak, if not then Im sure next night on raw doing a similar build up like RockCena. I also think Taker will do the honors of retiring Sting in his home state of California. Im also thinking Taker will ride off into sunset in his home state of Texas @24-0. As a fan I would love to see Taker go 25-0 adding Rock to list, but I think Cena will do honor.

    Nuts…

Imagine the crowd reaction if Sting were to debut at WMXXX after the Taker vs Brock match.
