Sting Rumored To Be Facing Undertaker at WrestleMania 31, May Debut on Raw After Mania 30

– The latest word on the never-ending Sting/WWE rumor is that “The Icon” will wrestle one match for WWE, with the likelihood that will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 from California next year. Steve “Sting” Borden has already expressed a desire for his final match to be vs. The Undertaker.

If that is the plan to going forward, plans building up the match could begin the night after WrestleMania 30 on Raw. Sting will already be in New Orleans at that point as he is penciled in for an appearance at the annual WrestleCon convention.

Thanks man, but what makes you say they won’t? Also are you saying they used The Crow theme for Sting during his WCW days? You know I’ve watched that movie so many times so I guess I haven’t realized it.

They won’t rent the rights for that from Metallica. They’ll either do a revamped version of the Crow theme or just use the original, unaltered Crow theme (makes the most sense since they own the rights to it). Seems fitting considering the Undertaker basically uses his original theme.

So we’re going to have the 50 year old vs. the 55 year old next year? Anyone remember Wrestlemania 12 when WWE made fun of Hogan and Savage who were in their forties? Would this also be classified as a geriatric match that would be more like comedy?

I still don’t believe he’s coming in. He should’ve been the match this year, though. I want to see Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt more.

  • Shawn OB

They better have “Seek and Destroy” as his theme song if he does come back. That’ll be awesome.

You’re welcome to return if he ever does join WWE.
