TMZ reported that Sting would be retiring from pro wrestling. However, Sting told TMZ on Sunday that he is not officially retired.
Sting was injured in his match with Seth Rollins at the 2015 Night of Champions pay-per-view when he took a powerbomb into the turnbuckles. After being hurt on the first powerbomb, he agreed to take the second one, and he had no control of his body on that one.
Sting has not wrestled since that match and needs neck surgery after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis.
