Arda Ocal (@arda_ocal) and Jimmy Korderas (@jimmykorderas) of #AftermathRadio on thescore.com and iTunes chat with WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin.

In the interview, Austin admits that he does have one more match left in him, that he would have liked to face Brock Lesnar but had it done right years ago in WWE, and he would like to face CM Punk at WrestleMania XXVIII, though he would have preferred Punk to be a heel, and the money needs to be right. Highlights:

On working for projects, his new website, including working with Steven Seagal in a new movie release upcoming soon in the future: “I am happy to be working with the guy. I have always been a Seagal fan, Ive heard a lot of stories about him. Its kinda right in the middle of my dear season. I’m down here in Texas in the deer stand looking at deer, learning my lines, and getting tuned up in the gym.”

Does he feel that there could be one more match inside of him still? Possibily stepping in the ring against CM Punk at a future Wrestlemania: “If it was the right time, right place could I do it (have one more match). Yeah. I got alot of respect for the kid (CM Punk), love the promos he cuts, love his work in the ring. He’s a guy that paid his dues, worked his way to top guy status, and I wish him all the best in the world. It’s a weird situation right now because he’s a babyface and I think he became a babyface too soon, and I would have liked to work him when he was a heel. It comes down to money and what’s on the table.”

Thoughts on Brock Lesnar. Giving his thoughts on all former talents like Brock Lesnar saying he would like to face Steve Austin if he came back to WWE, and current superstars calling him out on places like Twitter and other interviews: “As far as Brock Lesnar goes, I think he’s firmly entrenched in the UFC, and I think yes that was the big match to him that he would have liked to have had in the WWE at that time. Hell, I would have loved to have worked with Brock too, had it been done right.”

Austin also comments on his DVD, the famous “double turn” at WrestleMania 13, if there were discussions of a match against Hulk Hogan, Tough Enough, “What,” and more. The full interview is available here.

  • CM Mark

    @Bawb
    Thanks. ;-)

  • venom

    I would like to see Austin to face Lesnar, Orton, and Punk at some point.

  • Bawb

    @CM Mark

    You’re a dick.

  • CM Mark

    Punk isn’t trying to be real, he is real you moron. His background speaks for itself, why don’t you do some research into where he came from and then you can post some eductated comments on here.

    Del Rip is a freaking joke, he has to slap his thigh ten times a match, he’s almost a lame as head scissor cara or one move Orton. You really like all the lame wrestlers don’t you?

    Del Rio gets BURIED in every promo with Punk, and you know it. When Del Rio is future endeavored and Punk is still outselling Cena, I’ll remind you of this converstation. LOL…

  • CM Mark

    @Bawb
    Nah I have better idea, why don’t you go blow your perro buddy Del Rio and make some taco sauce.

  • FLOCKA!!!

    Austin vs. Cena (I know its random) but would love 2 see it lol or orton vs austin

  • Bawb

    @ PinSinCara

    Yeah, it’s almost absurd humor when he calls Ray a chihuahua haha.

  • PinkSinCara

    @ Bawb

    I completely agree with your opinions of Orton, Y2J, Truth and Miz. Orton puts me to sleep he’s so boring. I only awaken because Cole inevitably starts screaming OOHHH MMYYY, THE VIPER IS COILING!!!!!!

    Anyway, I also like Del Rio’s mic work. It’s somewhat annoying (which is what a heel is supposed to do) but effective. And the constant smiling is great. His promos calling Rey a chihuahua are still my favorite.

  • Bawb

    @CM Mark (1st one)

    LOL CALM DOWN. Damn, you really are a mark aren’t you? Yes, I believe his gimmick got old, and I don’t blame him (completely) for it. During the Nash-HHH-Punk angle, he just played the whiny suspicious type. Plus, all he does is break kayfabe with references. He tries to be all “real” but it’s tired already.

    That’s my opinion, so blow me.

    @CM Mark

    Aw hell CM Mark numb’r 2. I don’t think Del Rio is stale, I feel he’s got that Rick Martel swagger on mic. It’s just the way he carries himself. He’s very into himself, smiling and stuff. I mean, come on, he’s like the only heel these days who smiles instead of talking slowly and seriously (all angrily and stuff). You got the monotonous Orton and Jericho heel (these days at least) and you got the angry R-Truth and robotic Miz. It’s just the way heels are these days, but Del Rio stands out.

  • CM Mark

    OH HELL BAWB!

    Don’t get me wrong perro, Del Rio has actually had a few good matches in his run so far. So I will give him that, but if you want to talk about someone that’s REALLY BAD on the mic, well, yeah Del Rio SUCKS on the mic. Very stale, almost as bad as ol’ deer in the headlights funkman.

  • CM Mark

    @Bawb
    You’re a moron if you think Punk “whines” on the mic OR his gimmick is ONE second old. What world do you live in bud? Neverland?

  • RPM

    punk is still “Straight edge” he’s just not in the stable anymore, it could still work against austin as far as cutting promo’s go but currently he has no reason to cram it down everyones throat since he is a face right now.

  • Bawb

    What I hate about matches like these is that say Austin or any star that we loved from the Attitude Era comes back–they have one or two matches, you know they have to “put over” the younger stars automatically. This shows that A) we know the younger guy is going to win and B) it won’t be interesting enough because of that reason and because the younger stars are just not as good as their veteran opponents. CM Punk just whines on the mic; his gimmick grew old really fast since that shoot. Besides Del Rio, no one is interesting.

  • Second City Saint

    Austin vs Punk or Austin vs Orton Viper vs Rattlesnake

  • Effmenow

    Yeah Austin vs. Lesnar should’ve been on PPV, not a midcard squash match on RAW.

  • PinkSinCara

    If Punk was still doing the straight edge gimmick, that match would be perfect, considering Austin’s drinking and cursing. If Austin is willing to “pass the torch” in a babyface vs babyface match, it could work and you wouldn’t have to revert Punk back to a heel character (since Austin will definitely be the overall favorite anyway.) Personally, I’d like to see Austin leave on top with a win, but that does nothing for Punk who they’re trying to build into a long-term main eventer. I dunno, maybe Punk isn’t the right pick for Austin.

    Miz would be good. Or Del Rio, assuming he’s no longer in the title picture by then.
