Student brings ‘kill list’ to school after being inspired by Chris Jericho’s list

According to a report from Orlando’s News 13, a middle school student in Poinciana, Florida brought a ‘kill list’ to school earlier this week that was inspired WWE Superstar Chris Jericho’s ‘list’, per the local Sheriff’s Office.

The student’s ‘kill list’ featured most of the children who competed on the school’s football team, who he planned on shooting. The Sheriff’s Office contacted the boy’s parents who claimed that he got the idea from Jericho on TV who “keeps a list of people he dislikes.”

Here is what a mother of a 14-year-old student, Michelle Spangler, had to say about the incident:

“A 14-year-old does not just write a list because it’s just a list. We’re not in kindergarten, saying, ‘This kid is not my friend anymore.’ He literally knew what he was doing,” Michelle Spangler said, whose 14-year old twins attend the school.

The boy’s parents claim that their son had no intention of hurting anyone but that didn’t satisfy his peer’s parents who held their kids out of school the following day after the report came out. The school has not released any specifics regarding discipline for the child.
