Huge SummerSlam match planned for Shane McMahon?

Shane McMahon put on a great performance in his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 33. Now it looks like he might be lacing up his boots once again for SummerSlam.

According to some reports, WWE Officials are planning a match between the newest Smackdown star Rusev and the commissioner of the show, Shane for the SummerSlam PPV.

The groundwork for this feud seems to be laid already as we have seen Rusev demanding a WWE Championship opportunity from Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan through video packages in the weeks following the Superstar Shake Up.

Since the commissioner of SmackDown has built the show as a place where you have to earn an opportunity, it’s quite clear that Rusev will not be handed over the title shot he wants for free.

On this basis, WWE can easily build a rivalry between these two SmackDown stars leading to a match between the two at SummerSlam, similar to what happened with AJ Styles.

Though it’s just a speculation for now and whether or not WWE puts these two superstars against each other should be revealed when the time for SummerSlam comes around
