SummerSlam Sold Out, Steamboat Update, WWE in Vegas, More

– Regarding Ricky Steamboat’s health, he is expected to make a full physical recovery but will never wrestle again. The WWE Hall of Famer has been able to work out on an elliptical machine, but is prohibited from lifting anything heavier than five pounds.

 


 

– Tickets to Sunday’s SummerSlam at the Staples Center in Los Angeles are sold out.

– Saturday’s Raw live event in San Diego, CA drew 5,500 paying $215,000. Sunday’s show in San Bernardino, CA drew 2,000 people for $65,000.

– Beginning with a SmackDown live event on Dec. 4, WWE will hold all Las Vegas shows at the Orleans Arena Thomas, as opposed to the Thomas & Mack Center. The Orleans Arena is approximately half the size of the Thomas & Mack Center as the multi-purpose arena holds 9,500.
