Superstars possibly injured during NXT UK tapings

WWE NXT UK held television tapings on Saturday, which had some memorable moments. This included a huge title match for NXT TakeOver: New York and also Viper making her debut. However, an unfortunate incident happened as well.

Dave Meltzer explained on Wrestling Observer Radio that Noam Dar and Mark Andrews were possibly injured during a dangerous spot in a match, with the match being ruled as a no-contest.

“Mark Andrews and Noam Dar had a match and I guess there was a reverse hurricanrana spot and Noam Dar blew out his knee and Mark Andrews left on a stretcher and was knocked out.”

While the severity of the injuries is not yet known, it was serious enough for the match to be stopped following the spot. It was also noted that both Superstars are being treated for their injuries.

This is certainly unfortunate timing considering Noam Dar just recently made his jump to NXT UK as a full-time competitor.

We will keep you updated as we get to know more regarding their injuries.
