Man I hope they don’t drop the ball on this doc. After watchin’ The Rise & Fall of WCW though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

I hope Syxx gets interviewed for this too. Sting’s input would’ve been perfect on this, but that ain’t happenin’.

I’m looking forward to hearing Nash’s take on things since his input was absent from the NWO Back in Black dvd.

  • Oh u didnt no

Omg this is gona be another one of those WWE DVDs with old interview footage they just reuse and put a few new matches on it, plus Scott Hall isnt even on it, it will be people like the miz saying oo yeahh
nWo was so cool. Give me a break

I hope they have new interviews from Hogan and Bischoff and not just stuff that’s already been done. Also, why can’t we get Scott Hall’s take? I know he has issues, but he was ultimately the guy that started the nWo. Most people don’t realize, but he was close to re-signing with WWF. In the end, Bischoff offered too much money for him to turn down. Had he stayed loyal to Vince and re-signed with the WWF, the nWo NEVER would have happened. It has him defecting to WCW (and luring his best friend Kevin Nash to do the same) that created the nWo. Hogan was the cherry on top and Bischoff ripping off the idea from New Japan planted the proverbial seed, but none of that would matter had it not been for Hall’s decision.

  • Finally a true documentary for the nWo? They came out with one in 2002, you can probably pick it up on Amazon for $5.

The first 6 months of the nwo was cool because it was new and fresh. Then after that it was just the same bullshit promos week after week. Hogan talking rubbish for 10 minutes, Hall and Nash sucking up to the fans even though they were supposed to be heels, and the other 450 members standing in the background trying to look cool.
The most entertaining member of the group was Macho Man. He played the out of control, lunatic character brilliantly. He was too good for the nwo.
