– Former WWE stars Sho Funaki and TAKA Michinoku were backstage visiting friends at WWE’s events in Japan this weekend.
– WWE’s Dean Malenko and John Laurinaitis oversaw the tour this weekend and were scouting talent in Japan. WWE held tryouts that were setup by Funaki.
– Chris Jericho did an angle at the WWE show in Japan on Friday night where he got into it with Pro Wrestling NOAH star Yoshihiro Takayama, who was sitting at ringside. Jericho did something similar with The Great Muta years ago.
