The WWE has been known, at least in recent years, to blow its load rather quickly.  We have been stuck to witness “dream matches”, thrown together rather quickly, and shittily, if that is a word.  John Cena vs. Triple H, John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Randy Orton vs. Triple H, Edge vs. Batista, John Cena vs. Edge, John Cena vs. Chris Jericho,  Edge vs. Undertaker, Undertaker vs. Batista, they have all been done, WAY too many times.  It seems like now more than ever, the main event scene is in desperate need of new faces.  In the most recent months star such as Sheamus, and Jack Swagger, have both been pushed heavily to the main event, and succeeded.  Showing that they definitely deserve to stay in the picture.  They’ve breathed some fresh air into the main event scene, to say the least.  Kofi Kingston and John Morrison have even been given test runs of sorts in the past six months.  But the fact still remains that we could be in store for a recap of the past five years, on Raw this summer.

To get back to the first sentence, WWE never fails when given the chance to fuck up a dream feud.  They not only have managed to fuck up some recent top money matches, they’ve also managed to over blow these matches with repetitive matches on pay per view.  The only changes they make in the feuds is by putting gimmick matches into them.

John Cena vs. Randy Orton is one match in particular that disappoints me that they did this too.  Both men are still rather young and barring any sort of career ending injury’s or Rocky Diseases, are almost certain to be around the WWE for the next 10 or 15 years guaranteed.   Randy Orton is 30, John Cena’s 33.  Each man arguably receives the biggest pops out of WWE crowds today.  They have a raring history with each other.  Having faced each other twice on pay per view for the WWE title back in 2007.  Both of those encounters went to Cena.  In 2009 they faced off at four consecutive pay per views swapping the title back and forth each time.  To say this rivalry has been overblown and overused is like saying Triple H isn’t giving it to Stephanie McMahon in the ass daily.

Cena v Orton, though has had some potential added to it.  With Orton’s rather successful face turn of late, it has opened the doors to a somewhat fresher feud between the two.  And I for one, have fear that the WWE is going to blow there load way to quickly on there next encounter.  Which is a big shame, because with the recent turn of events, this feud could be massive!  But only, if done correctly.  They have to let time pass by, let friction build between the two.

I’ll call it now WrestleMania 28 will be headlined by Randy Orton vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship.  And boy will that match sell WrestleMania.  That is as long as they don’t blow there load.  So, let’s journey off into a distant world………

Alright folks, so as it looks now, were going to get Randy Orton in a program with Edge.  That, with out a doubt, is perfect for both superstars.  It will greatly help Edge, rekindle his heel heat.  And more importantly, it will further put over Randy as a top face.  I have a funny feeling based on WWE’s tendencies that we will see these two fight it out till Summer Slam, where Randy Orton gains the number one contender ship for the WWE Championship.   After the Edge – Orton match is announced as a number one contenders match, we get further building frustrations between Orton and Cena build up.  And just when we think were going to get the hottest feud in the WWE, John Cena loses the WWE title to [insert name here].  Thus, we get Orton taking on [insert name here] for the title at Night of Champions.  But Randy gets screwed over as just when he is about to win the WWE championship, John Cena comes running down and costs Orton the title.

The following night Orton shows up pissed off, and he looks for Cena, after unsuccessfully finding Cena.  Orton goes to the ring and gives a joyous promo on Cena being a coward, before Cena finally comes out, talks a lot of talk, and eventually pussy’s out of a fight, further building tensions, before Orton snaps and RKO’s the piss out of Cena leaving him beat down worse than Stephanie McMahon’s stretched out ass hole.  The next week it gets revealed that Cena filed a restraining order against Orton.  Which cause Raw’s General Manager [insert name here] to have to deliver a blockbuster trade with Smackdown, that gets Smackdown its credible star power for its move to SyFy.  The turn of events that Cena goes through, transitions him very smoothly into a heel for the first time in like eight years.

Over the time between October and the Royal Rumble match up, John Cena garnering himself heel heat with programs putting over hot baby face up and comers John Morrison, the Hart Dynasty, and solidified veterans Chris Jericho and Triple H.

Randy Orton on the other hand, will show up to Smackdown and immediately become the face of the show.  He is the final man left standing in the battle for brand supremacy in a War Games match at Bragging Rights, last getting a pin fall over John Cena, which builds up even more tension between the two.  Following this, he becomes number one contender to Jack Swagger’s World Heavyweight Championship at the next pay per view [insert pay per view here].   He is unsuccessful in getting the title but finally gets it at TLC in an epic Ladder match that gets Match of the Year consider ship.

Upon finally gaining the World Heavyweight Championship, Orton goes onto feud with Swagger a bit more, ending in a brutal Street Fight Match at the Royal Rumble.  Later on at the Royal Rumble pay per view, John Cena eliminates Undertaker, who retaliates by eliminating Cena, which creates a little somethin, somethin as they say.  But at the end of the night Sheamus is crowned the 2011 Royal Rumble winner.  Which ends the show in an almost deafening boo, as Sheamus has created himself quite the cult like hating over the year.

John Cena comes out the following night and challenges the Undertaker to a  match at WrestleMania.  He goes on mentioning there rivalry, and series of matches back in 2002, when Cena was just starting out his career.  Undertaker comes out furious and states that this years WrestleMania will be his last match ever.  And says that he wants the absolute best match up he can get, the most dangerous, grueling opponent possible for him to take down in his final match ever.  He continues by saying that at the upcoming Elimination Chamber pay per view, there will be a 6 man elimination chamber match, and the winner will be Takers opponent at WrestleMania.

Randy Orton, starts the Road to WrestleMania, by getting attacked brutally by Sheamus, who than proceeds to announce that he will be defeating Randy at WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Title.  At the Elimination Chamber, Randy partners up with Triple H to take on Sheamus and Finlay, with the end result being Sheamus completely dominating the match, mostly against Super H, and picking up the W.  Later on that evening, John Cena picks up a big, grueling victory in the Elimination Chamber match over the likes of CM Punk, John Morrison, Ted DiBiase, Kofi Kingston, and Kane.

That leads us up to WrestleMania 27, where John Cena takes down the streak and ends the Undertakers career after a grueling, 40+ minute match.  The conclusion of the night then sees the Viper come up victorious, to a HUGE pop, over the most hated man in professional wrestling at the time, Sheamus.

The following night is announced as the 2011 WWE Draft.  We get the show under way with the opening match, being Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk for the first overall pick for there brand.  In a long dream match of sorts Daniel Bryan gets the upset victory winning Raw the first pick, and it is….. RANDY ORTON!  He comes out to a big pop, and after standing on the apron for a little bit, John Cena comes out of no where and attacks him pretty bad.  As the show goes on we get some pretty good draft picks going, as it becomes apparent that the WWE isn’t going to rape Smackdown this year.  In the main event we get John Cena vs. Jack Swagger, who recently turned face.  As the match comes to its apparent conclusion, Randy Orton comes out and costs Cena the match, Orton continues by absolutely murdering Cena, eventually putting him through the announcers table.  He than proceeds to get on the mic and say that he is going to make life living hell for Cena over the coming months on Raw.  Before getting interrupted by Smack down’s final draft pick, which turns out to be Cena himself.  Orton becomes very, very outraged by this and continues to destroy Cena, giving him RKO after RKO, before giving him an RKO into the announcers table, to end the show.

It is announced that Cena will be out of action for 4-7 months due to the beating he took to the hands of Orton.  Randy on the other hand takes over the reigns of the face of the company, much to the like of how Stone Cold Steve Austin was.  During this time, he coasts along, defeating all challengers to his world title.  Up unto the Bragging Rights pay per view, where he becomes team captain for Team Raw as they take on Team Smackdown, in the 2nd Annual War Games match.  As the match winds down Cena sneaks out from under the ring and gives Orton and Attitude Adjustment of the top off the first cage.  Further putting Orton into shambles, and almost putting the friction between the two into all time heights.  Orton, the following night is forced to defend the title against Triple H, despite being in gravely condition.  He put up quite the fight before, Cena walks out to the ring really slowly, and stopping the match.  He continues by announcing that he had been released from his contract with Smackdown, and has signed a new contract with Raw.  From there, General Manager [insert name here] comes out and announces that the match will now be a triple threat match.  Super H and Cena, go on to completely kick the ever loving shit out of Orton, and Cena gets the victory for his 10th reign as a World Champion.

It gets announced the next day that Randy suffered some critical injuries at the hands of Super H and Cena, and could miss up to a year of action.  Following this, Cena and Super H, announce there budding partnership together, which would explain, why Super H, aided Cena in defeating Orton for the World title.  Over the next couple of months leading up to the Royal Rumble, Cena and Super H create a stable much too the like of Evolution.  Through these next few months they experience complete and total domination over the Raw brand, still able to put over the young talent that abides them in there stable though.  Which leads us up to the 2012 Royal Rumble where greatness is about to come forth.  The Rumble comes down to the final 6 before the last entrant number 30 is to come out.  Let us set the scene here, Ted DiBiase, Super H, Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, The Miz, and John Morrison are all set in the ring, when the countdown expires, and everybody is expecting R-Truth to be the final entrant, but…. Orton’s music hits and the crowd goes crazy, Orton races down to the ring, much to the dissatisfaction of Super H, and he quickly eliminates Rhodes, Jericho and The Miz.  Then out of no where Orton gets hit with the Dream Street, and goes down killing all of his momentum.  DiBiase and H then fight it out and eliminate Morrison before brawling it out, before DiBiase gets the upper hand and eliminates him, as DiBiase turns to locate Orton, he gets hit with an RKO, putting both men down.  Just then, Cena and H rush into the ring and beat down on Orton, before being forced out of the ring by security.  That would be the deciding factor as, Orton is able to put up only so much of a fight before, DiBiase eliminates him.

Orton returns the following night on Raw to proclaim his outrage for Cena.  The tension has been built up between the two over the past two years.  And it has far surpassed its limit.  Orton challenges Cena to a match at Elimination Chamber, but Cena talks his way out of it, and states that if Orton wants to face Cena, than he will have to “wrestle” his way into a match with him, not talk it.  Orton then enters the Elimination Chamber for the number one contender rights to the World Heavyweight Championship, and after a most grueling match up he over comes the odds and earns himself a shot at the title at WrestleMania 28.

And there you have it we get John Cena vs. Randy Orton in the main event of WrestleMania 28.  You the reader can decide who wins, and where it goes from there.  A load of tension, and hatred built up between the two over two years, with out blowing there load and facing each other legitimately in a one on one match up.  In a perfect world, this with out a doubt would be the way to go.  When I began writing this column, I had no clue this would turn into such a long fantasy booking of types.  But I, firmly believe that this would be a great way to create a huge and intense rivalry between these two despite there history.  So Vince, if your reading this somewhere out there, and I know you are.  Give me a call and we will talk about me selling the rights of this to you.  Just look up Spartacus, in your local phone guide.
