Tamina has had some pretty rough luck in the WWE, with a handful of injuries taking her out in the middle of some important stories. Recently, it seemed that Tamina was on her way to a title shot with Lana managing her back in the summer.
However, those plans were seemingly dropped out of nowhere, and Tamina was rarely used in ring in the last few months of 2017, only showing up to be a part of the Survivor Series match. According to Wrestling Inc, Snuka had been dealing with a shoulder injury and had surgery after the Royal Rumble to repair a torn rotator cuff.
WWE has yet to confirm the injury or offer a timetable for her return.
