Here all alone and ready for publishing, and well, it was an easy thing to do.  Anyways, I do not know when I will be back hopefully Saturday, but with a brand new title.  Not sure yet what to call it, so if you have any suggestions please send them in.  Anyways, I’ll stop babbling, and let you fine folks enjoy your own work!

I really have to thank you fine folks out there a great deal for the amounts of contributing you have done for me.  Feedback, voting for Reader’s Choice, giving your comments on Survey Says… Seriously people, it’s much appreciated.  I can NOT thank you enough.  You’re the greatest fan base a columnist could ever wish for.

1.  What classic superstar reminds you most of Sheamus’ mega push?
Brock Lesnar –         48 votes
Bill Goldberg –         24 votes
Triple H –        19 votes
John Cena –         6 votes
Eugene –         3 votes
Ultimate Warrior –     2 votes

Roadkill Says…They both fucked their ways to the top. Hunter was on Stephzilla like a kid in a candy shop, and Sheamus was on Hunter. What’s that old saying? “Monkey-See/Monkey-Do”? With Captain Trips and Sheamus, it’s more like, “Monkey-See/Monkey-Humps-the-shit-out-of-the-man-he’s-imitating-and-gets-a-monster-push”. On second thought, maybe Sheamus’ push is more like that of Eugene’s. They were both barely winning matches, and then they fucked around with Triple H. All of a sudden, they’re main eventing Raw. Screw it. You decide.

Viking Rage Says…Although WWE has been smarter in making sure that Sheamus loses his fair share of matches.

Peep No.1 Says… Brock, because it’s the same basic concept.

Johnny Boy Says…Because Of How Quick Both Have Came To The Top

Peep No.2 Says…Because Eugene is terrible, and WWE likes Terrible

BCR Says…It’s definitely a toss up between Goldberg and Triple H.. but then again, Sheamus isn’t feared? by anybody? So if anything, i think his push is more similair to that of John Cena…

Peep No.4 Says…Cena, because he got the WWE Championship fairly quickly as well.

Peep No.5 Says…He only has so many move like Goldberg did he was great on the mic but not much in the ring!

Peep No.6 Says… Eugene, because they’re both dorks.

Stephon Ball Says…Due to Sheamus and Brock Lesnar having the physical look and strength from the moment they both stepped into the WWE

Billy Jean Says… Brock; look wise.

Uncle Sam Says… Brock because he was thrown at people by Paul Heyman and used in a lot of matches right away.

Mr. Z Says…Brock.  Pushed to main event status from the start and kept there.

Peep No.7 Says… Sheamus and Brock are the same to me because when they came to WWE they destroyed everybody to get top.

SPARTY’S VERDICT… Coming into this one, I 100% expected Brock Lesnar to run away with it.  Well, he did.  I was surprised at how many votes John Cena received, despite not even being on the ballot.  It makes me wonder how many people may have changed their vote had he been included.  Ah well, case closed.

2.  Could Paul Heyman get TNA to the PromiseLand?
Yes –                 65 votes
No –                23 votes
Not without Hogan’s assistance –     14 votes

626 Says…He wouldn’t need to worry about money, he could just book

Peep No.1 Says… He’s a mastermind.

Uncle Sam Says… He’s been out of the wrestling scene for to long, and would only remember ECW.

Peep No. 5 Says…Who cares if he does Hogan has ruined TNA anyways!

Viking Rage Says…this situation reminds me of the Monday Night Wars. At some point TNA which has been using rehashed storylines aka Invasion. UGH. Old stuff no one really cares about anymore.

Billy Jean Says… He has experience.

Johnny Boy Says…Paul Heyman is not the right choice for TNA

Stephon Ball Says…Heyman has the vision if given the amount of time, to attract a niche audience for TNA. Heyman did do revolutionary angles n ECW and has proven his vision is at least 2 years above other wrestling bookers

Peep No.2 Says… If not TNA is worse of than Steve Irwin in a tank full of stingrays

Peep No.4 Says… TNA sucks with, or without Heyman.

BCR Says… As much as i would love an ECW angle in TNA, Paul Heyman would have trouble doing all this alone. I think Hulk Hogan is definitely an asset in TNA’s success.

Da Canadian Says…I do believe he would need full control to be able to make a change

Peep No.6 Says…Because TNA sucks, and always will.

Mr. Z Says… He could but only if he is the only one making decisions and not having heaps of people changing their minds.

Roadkill Says…It’s the “Promised Land”, Sparty. ROFL. Not even fucking Moses could get anyone to the Promised Land. God decided to be a dick and off Moses a few miles away from the Land of Milk and Honey. His stupid brother, fucking Josh, had to take over and finish the job. Not even Paul fucking Heyman can be the next Moses. Sure, they’re both old, Jewish, and always pissed off at something (it seems), but Paul is NOT Moses. Hell, he couldn’t even take ECW, a company that was pretty damn popular, to the Promised Land, because he couldn’t do jack-shit when it came to managing money. This makes Heyman the first Jew who has money problems. Anyway, no. At this point, TNA is in the shitter, and they’re lucky to even be on TV at this point.

SPARTY’S VERDICT… I figured the TNA marks would come in droves for this question and put Heyman out as a God.  Well, they did, but along the way quite a few people voted for Hogan’s assistance, and a few gave some very valid points.  In the end, though, I still firmly believe they need to rid themselves of Hogan, and Bischoff, and completely dismiss the idea of bringing Heyman in.  The constant change in TNA in the past year has greatly diminished, and slowed down all the momentum TNA had going.  If they want to be legitimate contenders to WWE they have to let there own talent, not only in the ring, but behind the desks, rise to the occasion, and ride it out.

3.  Now that the PG era has settled in, could we see a return of the corny gimmicks that were prominent the last time WWE was PG?
Haven’t they already? –     38 votes
Yeah –             31 votes
Hopefully –         19 votes
No –             13 votes

Viking Rage Says… No, because the WWE still is using the weapons just not drawing the blood wthey were before.

Peep No.2 Says…I hate WWE and there terrible PG it has ruined wrestling

Da Canadian Says…too much is being put into wwe being pg being how hogan era wwe was pg and made great strides for the wrestling business

Peep No.5 Says…It will get better as the viewer grow up

Roadkill Says…Yes. We’ve already seen “Doink the Clown” return, but I think it’s more than just a “one night only” type of deal. With WWE’s new channel, “The Network”, set to launch very soon, I wouldn’t be surprised if Doink teamed up with Hornswoggle for an all new Educational Children’s show, “The Doink and Hornswoggle Happy Hour!” Here’s my very own “TV Guide Synopsis” for the show: ” ‘The Doink and Hornswoggle Happy Hour!’ is a show that everyone can enjoy! Watch in awe as Doink teaches a child with AIDS how to read! Then watch the pre-taped segment from weeks ago where Doink actually gives the kid AIDS! Look on in excitement as Hornswoggle sets American relations with midgets and the Irish back about another 100 years! With a beer in his hand and a step-stool below his feet, Hornswoggle will teach your children about the facts of life, all while having good, clean, family FUN! So, remember: Catch ‘The Doink and Hornswoggle Happy Hour’ Tuesdays at 8:00, right after Percy Watson’s ‘Porch Monkeys’!” Was that awesome or what? Actually, I think Percy Watson’s “Porch Monkeys” sounds better.

Peep No.1 Says…It’ like a tradition.

Mr. Z Says…Comedy skits with Santino are good but I would rather see Ruthless Aggression 😀

Stephon Ball Says…PG means no blood etc but you can still have serious characters n a PG atmosphere

Billy Jean Says… I’d like that.

Peep No.4 Says… I mean yeah, it’s gonna happen : (

D Says… Please not again!

SPARTY’S VERDICT… In my honest opinion, the crazy gimmicks have been well in between what they once were.  Back in 03-05-ish, it seemed that WWE was trying to mesh the PG era with Rated R era, with all the crazy gimmicks, and crazy stunts.  I’m just glad it’s coming to it’s end, in favor of the next generation coming, about.

4.  Who was the better face of the company – Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold?
Hulk Hogan –         40 votes
Stone Cold Steve Austin –     68 votes

Da Canadian Says…a lot more people could get behind austin cause he had better wrestling ability. but not to count out hognas drawing power

Peep No.2 Says…Steve without a doubt with The Rock screw the 80’s. 90’s are the shit for WWE.

626 Says…In his prime, Hogan was a positive role model.

Roadkill Says…Let’s see. On one hand we have Hulk Hogan. He’s Stingy. He’s Power-Crazy. He’s not-as-orange-as-he-once-was. You get the picture. Then, there’s “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. He’s from Texas. He’s a nasty drunk. He’ll beat the shit out of you if you don’t comply with his beliefs. You get the picture. Based on these descriptions, Hulk Hogan is a self-loathing Jew, and Steve Austin is an evangelist Christian. The “Jew/Christian” wars should truly decide who’s more fitting of the “poster-boy” moniker.

Billy Jean Says… Young generation!

Mr. Z Says…Had far more impact, better moments and believability.

Peep No.1 Says… Hogan is the man!

One Answer Dude Says… I’m sick and tired of Hogan.

Johnny Boy Says…No Doubt He Has Way Better In The Attitude Era

BCR Says…Stone Cold is definitely more of an entertainer in the company, i think he can appeal to all fans young and old. Whereas, Hulk Hogan is much like John Cena, a ‘children’s’ champion.

Peep No.5 Says… He was much more entertaining the Hogan was at least he spoke his mind and made ya laugh!

Uncle Sam Says… Hogan had a gimmick, and did the same thing over and over, while Steve wasn’t and always had something fresh.

Stephon Ball Says…SCSA had the benefit of already having a national audience that Hogan built 2 catapult him 2 mega stardom. Hogan was a national icon, as evident that Hogan is the only wrestler 2 appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated and was wrestling’s first national celebrity

Peep No.6 Says… Hogan’s been around for how long???

Viking Rage Says…I hated not choosing Stone Cold but Hogan lifted the WWE into the spotlight and his name kept wrestling there even through the Stone Cold era

Peep No.4 Says…Stone Cold was the BEST, and Randy is the new Stone Cold!

Peep No.7 Says… Because I hate Hulk Hogan.

SPARTY’S VERDICT… I do not know why, but for awhile there I was rooting for Hogan to win, but in the end, Steve Austin supporters came out and gave the Hulkster a blowout loss.   Oh, well.  My vote would’ve been for Austin anyways.

5.  Does Vince McMahon really do it all for the fans?
Yes –    38 votes
No –    37 votes
IDK –    20 votes

Roadkill Says…Here’s the thing- Vince does it for the money. But to make money, you have to appeal to your fans. So, technically, he DOES do it for the fans, but only because it makes him richer. That’s all I got. Sorry.

Peep No.5 Says…It’s all about that money money yeah yeah!!

Peep No.1 Says… He only makes business decisions.

Uncle Sam Says…Only for the money.

Mr. Z Says…He needs the fans to pay the bills but in actuality he does tell them what they want… He pushes the guys he likes instead of the ones who go over…

Da Canadian Says…who knows why he does what he does.

Mr. Sir Says…  I think in real life he would do anything for the fans to a point but on t.v. he has to make it seem like he is all about the money.

Billy Jean Says… Business is business.  If people get happiness out of it, then it’s interest of it.

Peep No.6 Says… He is the only one that knows.

BCR Says…I don’t like how WWE only ‘try’ storylines… if they think they’re falling they just scrap it and start something new. WWE need to give some storylines and some superstars a fair go before making huge decisions like that.

Peep No.4 Says… Yes, and no.  He does it for the money he gets from the fans.

Peep No.2 Says…Yea he screws the fans over and over and over……..

Stephon Ball Says…If Vince did it ALL for the fans; he wouldn’t overlook tag team wrestling and still push wrestlers who have all size and physiques and no real talent

Viking Rage Says…If he didn’t the fans wouldn’t be watching any wrestling now would they.

Peep No.3 Says…He used too.

SPARTY’S VERDICT… I have no verdict.  Vince is a great businessman, with ideal priorities.  ‘Nuff said.
