The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office has postponed a ruling on Joanie “Chyna” Laurer’s death pending an additional investigation into what happened to her last week when she was found dead at the age of 46 in her Redondo Beach apartment.
There were no signs of foul play in her death, but her death is being looked at as a possible overdose. Her manager and best friend Anthony Anzaldo said that he found Chyna in bed with two prescription bottles (one for Ambien, one for an anti-anxiety medication) in the same room. Also, Anzaldo said that there was nothing illegal as she was prescribed those medications and there was no alcohol found in the house.
