The latest on TNA canceling their India Tour is that it was because of financial issues between TNA and Sony Six.
Sony Six, which is owned by Multi Screen Media, is TNA’s TV partner in the country. The deal was for TNA to run one tour in the country in the time frame of one year. If TNA does not do a tour of the country then, the contract would be breached. Sony Six was expected to pay most of the costs that TNA would have for doing a few Impact Wrestling TV tapings and a One Night Only PPV taping during the tour.
All talent and the production people had already received their travel itineraries. The talent was also told they would be paid for the tour, although many were scrambling to get new bookings.
