The main reason for Baron Corbin ”shattering” Braun Strowman’s elbow

On this week’s Monday Night Raw, Braun Strowman would compete in a 3 on 3 elimination tag team match. Towards the end of the match, he would be hit by Baron Corbin with a chair. Then he would be brutalized by Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley.

Braun would have his elbow ”shattered” by Corbin when he sandwiched his elbow between two steel steps. This was done in order to cover up Strowman actually needing to have surgery on his elbow.

PW Insider reported the main reason for Corbin absolutely decimating Strowman. It was done in order to make it more believable that the acting Raw General Manager would actually stand a chance at beating Braun in their scheduled match at TLC on December.

It is still unconfirmed whether Braun will make it in time for TLC, but hopefully, he will. As it looks, TLC will need all the interesting matches it can get.

The Baron Corbin “Acting General Mgr.” storyline already is getting pretty damn old. WWE writers need to turn out much better, more believable, and less predictable scripts. The most amazing story in many years was the real-life leukemia reported by “Roman Reigns” as himself – not a character. Daniel Bryan is a terrible heel also. And matches with the Lucha House Party are hard to take seriously. While I’m at it, Corey Graves is a horrible heel announcer. Bring back JBL!

What about Nestle, Rebock, Nike, ABC, Disney ect? Is it okntheybdonit or you only complain about wwe ?

  • MT McGee

I never said that. And I never bought into the Daniel BRYAN story about there being no plans for him. I always figured he was going to be part of a four way at TLC for the title and then win the Rumble and go on to face Miz at Mania.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

You are so wrong. People like you said there was heat on Daniel Bryant yet who walking around with the WWE title.

  • MT McGee

You’re putting words in my mouth. I never said it was fine. I said they are paying for Vince’s decision, fool.

  • CC

You sit there and say innocent people getting injured is fine as long as Vince is feeling some sort of remorse and you call me the coward. Be quiet you hypocritical lunatic.

  • MT McGee

You can say that, doesn’t make you any less wrong. And what a big man you are to insult religious people. Coward. The saudis’ day is coming. And for the record, i never used the word karma.

  • CC

Still absolutely illogical. Females who are not even allowed to wrestle over there are injured, so how does “punishing” them make any sense?
You sound like one of those religious loonies quite frankly.
If there is any form of karma being dealt out, how comes the Saudi’s do what they do and are one of the richest countries in the world then?
How comes Vince isn’t stricken down with something more closer to home?
Karma does not punish the innocent to get at the guilty as that would make karma or god or whatever loonie thing you think it is, better than Vince himself.

  • MT McGee

No one asked you for your wrong opinion, saudi sympathizer.

  • Unique

    You’re an idiot!

  • Unique

Why can’t it be both? More reasons for it makes it more believable. Stop complaining and enjoy.

  • MT McGee

I’m not saying injuries don’t happen, I’m saying that have been racking up at an unprecedented rate since WWE made the decision to go forward with the show. I’m not saying it’s fair to the wrestlers, I’m saying they are paying for Vince’s sins. The fact that this is causing more stress and headaches for Vince is MORE than fair.

  • MT McGee

I will, once WWE stops doing business with them.

  • MT McGee

That line was never in that scene. It doesn’t have to be, but the injuries have been racking up since then, that fact can not be denied.

  • Keith Learmonth

    -Insert Morpheus picture here-
What if I told you… not everything has to be about the Saudi deal.

  • CC

So your assumption is that because Vince does a deal, the innocent wrestlers are being punished. Great logic there.

It’s almost like no injury to a wrestler has even happened before WWE did the Saudi deal.

  • jedi

Not until he loses those fat hiding shirt he wrestles in lol

  • jedi

Give it up with the Saudi complaints…

  • CC

So much ridiculousness in this story. Either it was done to cover up the real operation or it was done to make Corbin look believable, it cannot be both.

Just for the record, are we now saying that Corbin is not a believable threat to Strowman then? A guy who was supposedly a monster heel himself before transitioning into the GM role.
So what does that say about everyone Corbin has beat in matches?

  • This was covered in an earlier W-E article.

  • MT McGee

So, since WWE decided to go ahead and get in bed with the saudis for Sweet Saudi Money 2: Electric Bugaloo, the following injuries have occurred: Alex Bliss(concussions), Becky Lynch(broken nose, concussion), Lashley(separated shoulder), Braun Strowman(elbow and possible knee issues), the possible injuries to Dawson and Kalisto(knees), Samoa Joe, Triple H(pec tear), and Zelia Vega(concussion). And I’m not convinced AJ isn’t working hurt, as he barely wrestles right now. If anyone else gets hurt, Ohno may actually get called up. I’m just kidding, that man is never leaving NXT.
