The Miz has been one of the bankable stars in the company over the years with his excellent promo skills and fairly good enough in-ring ability. This year’s final pay-per-view TLC saw a stacked card with 10 matches. However, the former Intercontinental Champion did not find a spot on the show.
The A-Lister elaborated on his omission from the card in an interview with Brian Fritz of the Sporting News. The Miz said:
“You always want to be a part of every show when you’re a WWE superstar. You want to be the main event. You want to be the talk of the entire the entire show. But, sometimes, you’re left off because that’s just the nature of the beast.”
The Miz continued by explaining that he understands the situation while adding the fact that no one works harder than him. He stated:
“Sometimes you’re needed, other times you’re not. I looked at it as I need to work harder. I need to try harder but to be completely honest, I don’t know how to work harder because I don’t think anyone works as hard as me.”
