WWE originally planned for Triple H defending the WWE Title against Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat Match at the Roadblock WWE Network special.
The original finish was to have Triple H pin Ambrose. However, those plans were changed to HHH defending the title against Ambrose in a singles match and Lesnar facing Bray Wyatt in a singles match at the special. Triple H will retain the title at the special and go on to defend the title against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
For those who are wondering, there are no plans to turn Dean Ambrose heel anytime soon.
The event will take place live on the WWE Network on Saturday, March 12 at 8 pm Eastern / 5 pm Pacific.
