The Rock has been in news for a while not only for his hit movies and reports of possible wresting return but due to his comments about possibly running to become the president of United States as well.
During his recent interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, he talked about many things and revealed the reason why he is delaying his presidential run.
According to the former World Champion, he said yes when asked about possibly running for the post because he respects the country and the people but on the same time he needs experience for it before taking the leap into politics:
I said yes I will consider it. Of course, I would. But at the same time, I’m not delusional at all, like I need experience. So if that were to happen in 2024 or 2028 I would have to go to work and get some experience and understand policy.
