– The IMPACT WRESTLING World Tour events scheduled for Essen, Leipzig and Neu-Ulm, Germany, later this month have been cancelled, TNA Wrestling announced Monday.

Shooter Promotions, the event organizers, stated on Facebook, “Due to the unexpectedly poor clearance sales, the planned three TNA Wrestling shows are canceled. The already purchased tickets can be returned to the respective box offices.”

This is the second international tour cancellation in recent months as an entire South American tour was nixed in November due to poor ticket sales.

– Christy Hemme, who is an aspiring musician, performed on stage with her band Hemme on Saturday at the Anaheim Convention Center for the 2012 Easyriders Bike Show Tour. SmackDown ring announcer Lilian Garcia and former WWE Diva Candice Michelle attended her performance.

– Former TNA Knockout Chelsea appears at The Big Event 2, which takes place March 10, 2012 at the LaGuardia Courtyard Marriott 9010 Ditmars Blvd East Elmhurst, New York. Visit www.sportsfanpromotions.com for more information.

I live in Chile(south america), and there wasnt any advertisement. I remember seeing a poster for the tour once, but just once, how would they expect to sale tickets like that. Besides, TNA isnt shown on any network here in Chile, and unless there is some underground thing going on that i dont know of, there is barely any chance for anyone to find out about it. Only hardcore TNA fans would know about it, and that sucks, cause even though i dont watch TNA, it would have still beeing cool to see guys like Sting or Angle or AJ Styles or Samoa Joe, and i bet am not the only one here that feels like that.

just make TNA a all Women organization, they will sell tickets in no time. :)

Bigger venues is right. Awhile back they had a show in Copps Coliseum(Hamilton) which holds around 15000 I believe, the majority of the place had tarps covering and the audience sitting on one side. They need to start small and go from there. Especially need to travel. TNA will never grow if they stay in Florida all the time.

@CC I agree with you on what you say about TNA and going for the bigger places (silly) as they tried that here in Ireland too and well it was bad and now end up doing another spot which holds 1,200 depending on the bouncers on that night and they sell out all the time. As for WWE and why you think they waited so long due too WCW, cant say about the UK but here in Eire it was LATE 90′S before we saw WCW on TV as it was always WWE/F since around mid 88 when Sky TV first ventured over here, so they were the known ones as no one really heard of WCW unless you were wrestling mad and a fan of it in general.

I bet Bischoff will still say things are as good as ever in TNA. He’s either in denial or thinks fans are stupid.

  • CC

@Keylo. Difference is that TNA should have it easier, but they keep going for oversized venues. WWE had competition from WCW for many years, so it was always gonna be tougher to break into international markets, and neither company was willing to risk a fall outside of the USA which would also mean taking their eye off the ball in America.
TNA though is not competing directly with WWE, so should be able to carve out a niche for itself in international territories if they only started smaller.
Their biggest problem is that the success they received here in the UK when they first came over here to places like Essex arena, and then came back and played Wembley arena, meant they thought they could go everywhere at that same level.

TNA is not going to be around 40 years at this rate.

  • keylo

Tyler(: lol and when did the WWE start going other places than the UK ?oh thats right 40+ years after they first came onto the scene as they only as recent as 5 yrs ago could manage to fill wjat is a 10,000 seater ground in Ireland after they reduced the size to 6,000 to appease VKM to make it look like they sold out.

  • Tyler(:

So Jason. this is TNA winning over WWE?

Have VelveT Sky in a bra and panties match weekly … Make her bra and panties champion taking on a different knockout each week and I’ll guarantee that their ratings will have a very generous gain… I know I’d tune in every week
