TNA Spoilers on the World Heavyweight Title, Lockdown, Hardy and More

– Below are some spoiler notes from last night’s TNA iMPACT tapings, airing this Thursday night on iMPACT:

* Brooke Hogan and Hulk Hogan’s new wife were shown in the crowd.

* There wasn’t much positive mentions about Jeff Hardy during last night’s tapings. Reports are that Sting, Hogan and Eric Bischoff talked about Hardy in a negative way during promos.

* Alissa Flash was the former TNA Knockout who returned this week to answer Madison Rayne’s open challenges. She lost in a quick match.

* Sting debuted a new TNA World Heavyweight Title belt. They have done away with the Immortal belt that Jeff Hardy had.

* Gunner is the new TNA Television Champion after defeating his partner Murphy and Rob Terry in a three-way for the vacated belt. The belt was vacated after Abyss is out of action with a storyline injury. Abyss won the title back in January.

* Matches made for TNA Lockdown last night include Madison Rayne vs. Mickie James with Madison’s Knockouts Title and Mickie’s hair on the line and Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle.

  • I can’t believe they’re giving Gunner a push. Him and Murphy have been around for months, and I don’t think I’ve seem either of them actually execute a wrestling move yet!

“I just don’t get Jeff. Here’s a guy who was given a huge push in WWE, and walked away from it.”

probably cause the wellness test would have eventually caught him again, where as TNA ‘seems’ to test, they don’t punish people and therefore encourage people like Hardy to behave this way.

Here’s another side to it…TNA hired someone they knew had a drug problem and had an ongoing investigation and court case were he is accused of trafficking drugs and they hired him and built the company around him, they don’t have a solid drug testing programme, and then they get angry when said well known drug afflicted individual turns up unfit to work and then bury him like they’re surprised and they’re the victims? They are as much to blame. Possibly more in fact, as a drug addict doesn’t think as clearly as a company of non addicts.

Finally, they’re getting a new belt for TNA. But knowing TNA, it’s probably like the Hardy belt with Sting’s face instead….

Couldn’t have said it better CC. Hardy has been given too many chances after throwing away opportunity after opportunity. Now the guy just needs to go.

I just dont get Jeff. Heres a guy who was given a huge push in WWE, and walked away from it. Then he gets a huge push in TNA (despite already doing his best to ruin that) and then throws it away.
How many more chances does one guy get?
Before and of the Hardy defenders pop up, think about this. Think about all the younger, hungry talent that would kill for his spot in either company, and they dont fuck up or do anything wrong, yet continuously get overlooked of future endeavoured.
Is it really fair that they get overlooked for a guy who obviously doesnt care about himself, let alone the business and the fans?

Back in the good old days of the Hardy Boys, Jeff was fun to watch, but since going solo, he just isnt that interesting.
Once you have seen him do his “holy shit” dives, what else is there?

  • !?

Looks like Jeff Hardy may be getting released soon, man people would kill to be Jeff’s position, but its his life so oh well, looks like they may have Mr. Anderson or Matt Hardy take Jeff Hardy’s spot as the leader of Immortal. Holy crap I had forgot about the prestigious TNA World Television Championship, looks like a bright future for Gunner, he’ll likely be feuding with Jay Lethal based off of his title win.
