TNA vs. WWE Update, Alex Riley Gets a Win, R-Truth and Ziggler Absent, More

– The next hearing in the TNA vs. WWE lawsuit will be on July 12th at 9:30am. WWE lawyer Jerry McDevitt has been approved to work as one of WWE’s attorneys on the case.

 


 

– For those wondering, Brodus Clay was kept off RAW this week to sell the concussion from Big Show the week before.

– Alex Riley picked up his first singles win in many months at last night’s RAW live event in Madrid, Spain. He defeated Curt Hawkins. Hawkins wrote on Twitter that he had a busted lip and jammed thumb after the match.

– R-Truth and Dolph Ziggler were absent from last night’s live event in Madrid, Spain. Ziggler noted on Twitter that he was flying to Spain. No word yet where R-Truth was.

WWE shifted things around a bit to make up for the absences. Mason Ryan got a singles match, squashing Michael McGillicutty and Zack Ryder teamed with Truth’s partner Kofi Kingston to lose to Primo and Epico.
