Tommaso Ciampa’s next challenger revealed at NXT tapings; injured stars return

Tommaso Ciampa seems to have finally broken away from Johnny Gargano. The NXT Champion will move onto his next feud soon, and it looks like we’ll see Blackheart Ciampa take on Velveteen Dream, according to PWInsider.

The next four weeks of TV were taped tonight, with Tommaso Ciampa addressing Velveteen Dream during what would be Week 3.

Ciampa calls out Velveteen Dream, claiming that Dream has his attention. Dream questions the thought of Ciampa being the “greatest sports entertainer.” During the segment, Nikki Cross came out saying “I know” while knocking the mic away from Ciampa.

During Week 4, Bobby Fish came back to assist the Undisputed Era in a Tag Team Championship match against the War Raiders. War Raiders defeated the UE via DQ when Fish attacked them with a chair.

Aleister Black also made his return to NXT during the main event, where Nikki Cross took on Bianca Belair. At some point during the match, the lights go out, and when they cut back on, Black was in the middle of the ring while Cross rolled around in the ring. Belair had vanished at this point.

Cross continued to say “I know” leading Black to say “Tell me.” Cross whispered in his ear and left, leaving a raging Aleister Black in the ring.
