- There were reports last week that Chris Sabin may be leaving TNA when his contract expires in August. The Wrestling Observer reports that Sabin has indeed talked about leaving but nothing is confirmed and it all depends on what happens over the next few months.

- Tonight’s live episode of TNA Impact Wrestling will kick off with Dixie Carter addressing the AJ Styles phone call that was played last week. Tonight’s show will also feature a contract signing between Bully Ray and Joseph Park, a four-way Knockouts #1 contender match plus six-man action with Bobby Roode, Kazarian and Daniels vs. Sting, Kurt Angle and AJ Styles.

- Eric Bischoff is being credited with the Abyss-Joseph Park angle and the storyline between AJ Styles and Dixie Carter, even though he may not have came up with them in the first place. Bischoff okayed both of them to be pushed prominently. Both angles are considered to be major successes, especially the Dixie-AJ angle because it’s the first TNA angle that shows the ability to move ratings, even if it’s just quarter-hour ratings.

    Heck yeah the affair angle is a success and the acting for it has been great, kind of soap opera esque but very good angle. Props to Bischoff.

    Eric Bischoff for the win

    @scooter

    At first, regarding the affair angle, I was thinking, “this will do nothing for AJ.” But then, as you mentioned, I realized that while it does little for AJ, it’s been really effective at pushing the Daniels/Kaz team. This is what heel teams should be, ruthless and dangerous, as opposed to the way the WWE handles them, as a couple of jobbers who get squashed when they go up against top level singles characters. I really hope TNA continues to put them in the lime-light, both in the tag division and as guys who aren’t afraid to tangle with the main event crowd.

    If tna wants to keep sabin they need to give him what he desrves a run with the x-division title. As for the stroylines the abyss’s brother who is really abyss looking for himself is ok but kind of odd because how is a person who is that person going to find themself. As for the Dixie Aj styles thing its alright its a repeated stroyline but everything is now adays. The only reason i dislike it is there is more dixie on tv not that she isnt attractive its just everytime she talks it proves how little she knows about wrestling

    Just bring back the guy that Managed Abyss and turn him back into a Monster.

    The Joseph Parks angle is suprisingly awesome then again abyss and bully ray are both two of the best big men in wrestling. I don’t know if I like the concept of the AJ/Dixie thing but its made daniels and Kazarian look like stars so I’m all for it
